Iconoclast I

Year: 2026

Technique: Mixed media on canvas

Dimensions: 30x40cm

Typology: Iconoclast Collection, 2/2

Opera Description
Iconoclast I opens a series built on a single method: images made to be broken. A calligraphic composition, made live on paper during "Furlè-Cèzanne" — the first outdoor collective exhibition organized by Galleria Ex Bar Cristina — is torn apart, reduced to irregular fragments, and reassembled as collage. The torn paper becomes ground, not remainder: the teal-blue surface that carries everything built on top of it.
Over this fractured base, the mark reforms. Acrylic spray, paint, and enamel construct a new composition that does not conceal the rupture beneath it, but exposes it as load-bearing structure. The destruction is not an accident absorbed into the work — it is the work's origin condition.
The gesture is iconoclastic in the literal sense: an image is made, then broken, precisely so that a new image can rise from its fragments. Calligraphy, a discipline built on precision and repair, is dismantled twice — first physically, then compositionally — and rebuilt without any obligation to remain legible. Each work in the series repeats this same act on a different composition, testing how much an image can be destroyed and still generate another.

The Tiger of Delft

Year: 2026

Technique: Mixed media on porcelain

Dimensions: 20×36×15cm

Typology: Unique piece

Opera Description
The Tiger of Delft stems from a reflection on copies, imitation, and identity. It begins with an industrial porcelain figurine — a serial, kitsch object, a copy of a copy, mass-produced from a mold and stripped of any original story. The intervention works on this blank, hollow surface, turning it into a canvas dense with meaning.
The concept and palette take their cue from Delftware ceramics. In the 17th century, Dutch potters produced these pieces to imitate porcelain imported from Japan and China — an imitation that, over time, became an iconic national tradition. That historical paradox- how a copy can elevate itself into heritage- sits at the core of the piece.
Across the cobalt-blue surface, painterly textures, tags, and Dutch lettering spell out words like "false" and "fake". The gesture is not an insult but an act of redemption: proof that an artistic mark can grant a narrative to something originally devoid of identity. A sharp, minimal block of solid white breaks the dense blue lettering, acting as a visual pause that invites reflection on the line between authentic, imitated, and re-created.

Still

Year: 2026

Technique: Mixed media on polypropylene

Dimensions: ø 30cm, h. 43cm

Typology: Unique piece

Opera Description
Still takes the Kartell Prince AHA stool, designed by Philippe Starck, as its starting point — the object chosen by Il Prisma for a group of artists to interpret for the showroom's 50th anniversary. The piece submits it to a dense chromatic and gestural intervention: marks that recall calligraphy without resolving into legible script, carrying the memory of writing without committing to any language or era.
The hourglass form reinforces this suspension — it makes time visible without measuring it, belonging to no particular time or place. Two dominant palettes coexist without resolving into harmony, holding the gaze at their threshold: not to decode, but to inhabit.
Created for Re-Vision Design, Il Prisma Showroom, Rimini, 2026.

Strata

Year: 2026

Technique: Mixed media on canvas

Dimensions: 40x50cm

Typology: Unique piece

Opera Description
Strata is a painting that performs its own title. The work is built through accumulation — teal and black grounds laid with gestural density, calligraphic marks pressed into the lower strata and partially obscured by subsequent paint layers. They remain visible, but only barely: evidence of process made into subject matter. From this compressed foundation, a dominant circular form emerges — not placed, but risen. The surface reads as having generated it through internal pressure.
Red cuts through the composition with an immediacy that resists absorption, refusing the tonal logic of its surroundings. White geometric passages intervene at precise points — not as resolution, but as active counterforce. The tension between geometry and gesture is not mediated; it is the work.
Strata was exhibited and offered for sale at Art is Not Dead, COCA Seattle, May 6–17, 2026.
GD-About Swinging-Negative-01

About Swinging — Negative

Year: 2026

Technique: Risography, 2 colors (bright red, teal)

Dimensions: A4

Typology: Limited series 40/40

Opera Description
A personal mantra repeated until it consumes the page. The line — "Life's swinging hard, but I'm swinging harder," originally from The Ghost Inside — becomes, over time, something closer to a private motto. Set in Illegible Alphabet, a typeface built with no concern for legibility, the text dissolves into pure visual texture. The gradient moves from bright red to teal across the background, leaving the letterforms as white silence against it. Printed in risography, each copy carries its own micro-variations — no two prints are identical.

Ember

Year: 2026

Technique: Enamel and acrylic on concrete

Dimensions: ø 80cm, h. 200cm

Typology: Mural

Opera Description
Ember transforms a bar's chimney into an incandescent column — a color read as constant warmth, sustained across countless shared moments. The gradient is the first built freehand, brush-painted directly onto the concrete rather than sprayed, integrating the initials of a close circle of people.
Uncommissioned, the piece sits outside any professional context: made for the group it belongs to, not for a client.

Fritz

Year: 2026

Technique: Acrylic and enamel painting on wall

Dimensions: 1x4m ca.

Typology: Mural

Opera Description
Fritz is one of Cesena's liveliest social spaces — a bar built as much around music and collaboration as around drinks. Working within the bar's existing palette of red, black, and white, silver was introduced as the sole exterior color, running through the design and marking the renovation apart from the space's original identity.

Ice Basketball

Year: 2024

Technique: Digital print on basketball

Dimensions: ø 74,5cm

Typology: Unique piece

In collaboration with: Comrade Berlin

Opera Description
The piece takes a regulation basketball as its base — a familiar, low object turned into ground for a calligraphic composition that wraps continuously across the curved surface, running uninterrupted over the panel seams. Teal and white alternate without a fixed reading direction, dense enough to erase any clear starting point in the pattern.
A small monogram interrupts the composition near the center — the one stable mark on an otherwise continuously shifting surface. The grain and seams of the leather affect how the pattern reads depending on the angle, turning a mass-produced object into a surface with no single, fixed viewpoint.

Air Jordan みどり Midori

Year: 2025

Technique: Acrylic painting

Dimensions: N/A

Typology: Accessories, custom shoes, unique piece

Opera Description
Air Jordan 4 Midori is a custom sneaker built on the Oxidized Green colorway, reworked through the lens of Japanese garden aesthetics. Calligraphic patterns in soft green tones spread across the upper, dense and continuous, echoing foliage without illustrating it directly.
Dark green accents on the midsole, lace locks, and inner lining anchor the composition in the same palette, holding the sneaker's original silhouette while shifting its surface entirely. Tradition and modern design coexist on the same object without either taking precedence.

Cybertopia

Year: 2026

Technique: Mixed media on canvas

Dimensions: 80x100cm

Typology: Unique piece

Opera Description
Cybertopia marks a shift in method. Abstract calligraphy, until now the central language of the work, steps back from its usual role: it becomes one element among others, merging with signs drawn from both abstraction and rationalism rather than dominating the composition.
The piece works against the expectation that calligraphy must carry literal meaning, or risk being reduced to decoration. Here, decoration is not the goal — the marks are pushed to gather reflections and contradictions, forms that do not coexist in harmony but in tension: colliding, overlapping, obscuring one another.
The result resists the pursuit of a perfect mark, opening instead onto what is fragile, incomplete, imperfect — a surface that reflects an era of contradictions treated as ordinary.
Cybertopia was on display at @arrivalgallery, Milan, January 23–26.

COLORAMA

Year: 2022

Technique: Acrylic enamel on panels, floors, and walls

Dimensions: 15x3x3m

Typology: Immersive installation

Commission: Beautiful Gallery, Palazzo Isolani (Bologna, IT)

Opera Description
COLORAMA is the third installation realized for Beautiful Gallery at Palazzo Isolani, Bologna — an exploration of color's impact on perception. The 15×3×3 meter space becomes a surface for observing how color shapes emotion and transforms environment, built entirely from the gallery's official color palette.
The installation merges artistic intent with the gallery's visual language, producing a cohesive environment that reads as a visual meditation on color as both refuge and provocation.

Squid

Year: 2025

Technique: Forex, fiberglass, automotive paint, acrylic enamel

Dimensions: 40x50x18cm ca.

Typology: Unique piece

Opera Description
Squid begins as a rescue buoy — a functional object. The form was originally prototyped fifteen years earlier during design studies: fiberglass poured into a forex mold, finished with automotive paint. A process piece, an exercise in materials and fabrication. The reencounter with that object produced a different reading. The same form, seen again, suggested something else entirely — a squid: a creature defined by camouflage, bioluminescence, and a long history in collective imagination. The intervention does not transform the object so much as it reveals what was already latent in its shape. Calligraphic marks in red and white cover the surface entirely, activating the volume without competing with it. Squid sits at the intersection of design memory and sculptural practice — a functional archetype reclaimed, renamed, and made strange.

Givenchy Total Look

Year: 2023

Technique: Water-based printing on fabric

Dimensions: N/A

Typology: Apparel, unique piece

Opera Description
The piece takes a Givenchy suit as its foundation, crafted in premium denim and finished with water-based printing. Calligraphic marks in white sweep across a saturated ground, red and cream fields interrupted by small paper-like squares that read as folds or fragments caught mid-air.
The garment sits at the intersection of fashion and painting: the tailoring provides structure, the surface treatment overrides it, turning a wearable object into a support for gesture. The composition claims no single medium as its natural ground — paper, canvas, textile function here as equivalent surfaces for the same calligraphic language.

Private Space GM

Year: 2023

Technique: Acrylic paint on wall

Dimensions: 3,5x2,8m ca.

Typology: Murales

Opera Description
Commissioned for a private apartment's living area, the mural extends across a wall in a series of semi-circles, aligned with the existing color palette of the space to hold a balanced, cohesive composition. A later renovation opened space to expand the piece: the central semi-circle grew into a complete design, turning the wall into an immersive, enveloping surface that redefined the room's atmosphere

Cybertruck 2077

Year: 2025

Technique: 3d print, enamel and acrylic Paint

Dimensions: 14×6,5×6cm

Typology: Toy Design, Unique piece

In collaboration with: IL3D

Opera Description
Cybertruck 2077 begins with a toy replica of Tesla's Cybertruck, designed and 3D-printed by IL3D — a scaled miniature of an already hyper-designed, dystopian object. The intervention pushes that dystopian charge further: a layer of semi-transparent calligraphy spreads across the body, bolder and more aggressive in line than the source vehicle, while the original color scheme holds as ground. Automotive design and calligraphic gesture meet on the same surface, each amplifying the other's excess.

Skate x Risografia

Year: 2026

Technique: Acrylic painting on wood

Dimensions: 21x78cm

Typology: Unique piece

Opera Description
A custom skate deck realized for Risografia Collective, on the occasion of Gipsy Garden at Villa Des Vergers. Calligraphic marks in white spread across a solid teal ground, treating the deck's curved surface as an extension of the same visual language developed across paper and wall.
